Job Summary


  • To improve and ensure the data quality of customer information by implementing data structure, data governance framework and relevant procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure good practices in the management of data tools, reference data, data standards, data frameworks and templates. Ensure these are fitting for business needs and comply with prevailing regulations
  • To liaise with business departments to define data quality business rules and data structure
  • To work with all IT project teams andor solution providers to implement data quality business rules and data structure
  • Accountable for definition of bank data governance guidelines, procedures, standards, methods, tools and processes


  • University degree or above in business administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in IT industry with at least 3 years in data management, data governance, data related analysis and design, data modelling andor related application development projects
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the banking sector with good understanding in related business applications, data management and related technologie
  • Solid data management experience in Core Banking system revamp project is essential
  • General understanding in data quality improvement, data management processes and business intelligence application is preferred
  • Solid experience in Business Intelligence tools and Database systems such as IBM InfoSphere DataStage & QualityStage, IBM Cognos, IBM DB2 (with DB2 administration)
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
